The A J Way range incorporates models of high seat and riser recliner chair with drop down armrests to facilitate sideways transfer to and from a wheelchair. Our Shetland Porter Chair enables a sitter to be moved in their chair minimising the need for tranfers.

Most A J Way chairs may be fitted with a ProBax™ cushion. ProBax™ is an innovative foam-based seating technology which aims to support & tilt the pelvis very subtly thus allowing the spine to adopt its natural ‘S’-shaped lordotic curve which may improve seated posture and circulation.

Most A J Way chairs may be fitted with a variety of integral pressure care cushions which help redistribute user weight over the widest possible area. For those at risk of developing a pressure ulcer professional advice should always be sought from a tissue viability nurse.
